NEWCASTLE Jets supporters must wait a little longer to discover whether their club has a long-term future but it's next two games will definitely go ahead after a meeting between Con Constantine and the FFA on Monday - a meeting which saw the club state how it intends to move forward.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) met with the owner of the Newcastle Jets, Con Constantine, this afternoon for further discussions over the future of the club.
"We were presented with a plan on how the club hoped to move forward and we committed to consider that proposal over the next 24 or 48 hours," said FFA CEO Ben Buckley.
"As talks are continuing I would like to assure fans and players that Newcastle Jets games on Wednesday night and Saturday night will go ahead as planned.
"These are complicated and difficult issues to work through and I urge all stakeholders to be patient as we strive for the best outcome for all."
