Newcastle Jets will not be drawn into commenting on the VAR controversy, but it's understood they're just looking to move on from the Grand Final.
Victory prevailed 1-0 at McDonald Jones Stadium in contentious fashion as the VAR failed to rule out Kosta Barbarouses’ ninth minute goal as offside.
FFA then released a statement the following morning saying there was a technical failure, which meant they did not have the appropriate camera views to rule out the goal.
Despite calls from some fans for the game to be replayed, FourFourTwo understands Newcastle will not be taking any action on the issue and would not be drawn into commenting officially on the matter.
However FFA’s statement has put further scrutiny on both clubs, marring the spectacle as Victory captain Carl Valeri was forced to answer questions when they arrived back in Melbourne.
Jets defender and former Victory man Daniel Georgievski took to Instagram to say Newcastle weren’t sore losers, but he wanted it to be a message to FFA so it doesn’t happen again.

The A-League was the first professional domestic competition to implement VAR, however many pundits and fans have slammed it this season.
FFA Head of Referees, Ben Wilson, told FourFourTwo in December that VAR will work, it just needed more time.
There have also been a number of controversies regarding VAR in Europe, where incidents in Portugal and Germany saw the system fail to overrule human error.
VAR is also set to be used in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
