The former Australian U17 and U20 international said:
“I appreciate everything that the Club has done for me since I arrived from Queensland. The supporters and staff have been excellent to me, so I wish everyone all the best.”
The clubs said in a statement:
“Newcastle Jets thanks Cooper for his contribution to the Club over the past four years and wishes him well in his future pursuits.”
