Brazilian forward Marquinhos netted a second-half hat-trick after Shunsuke Nakamura and Shingo Hyodo had put Yokohama two goals in front.

Nakamura opened the scoring in the eighth minute, before Hyodo doubled the advantage and Marquinhos put the result beyond doubt.

Yokohama moved to the top of the table with two wins from as many matches and a positive goal difference of seven.

Meanwhile, two goals from Kazuma Watanabe guided FC Tokyo to a 3-0 victory over Kashiwa Reysol and second spot on the table.

Watanabe struck twice in the opening half, with Aria Hasegawa sealing the result in the 78th minute.

Newly-promoted club Shonan Bellmare were denied their first win in the J.League since July 2010 when Ryunosuke Noda scored a late equaliser for Sagan Tosu in a 1-1 draw.

Shonan led from the 50th minute thanks to a goal from Ryota Kajikawa but Noda's 83rd-minute equaliser earned Sagan a point away from home.

In other matches, Kazuhiko Chiba found the net with six minutes to go as Sanfrecce Hiroshima claimed a 2-1 win against Albirex Niigata.

Cerezo Osaka earned their second straight win after overcoming Ventforet Kofu 2-1, while Kosuke Kikuchi scored the decisive goal in Omiya Ardija's 1-0 win against Jubilo Iwata.

Kashima Antlers posted their first win of the season after beating Vegalta Sendai 3-2, Urawa Reds knocked off Nagoya Grampus 1-0 and Kawasaki Frontale entertained Oita Trinita in a 1-1 draw.
