AUSTRALIA international goalkeeper Brad Jones has rubbished rumours linking him with a permanent move away from Liverpool in the upcoming European summer.
Jones, 29, joined Championship club Derby County on loan for the rest of the season last week after making just two appearances for the Reds this season.
A UK newspaper report suggested the Australian shotstopper had fallen out of favour at Liverpool and would be axed by coach Kenny Dalglish at the end of the season but Jones rubbished the speculation on Twitter.
"What idiot decided to put in the Daily Mirror that I'm going to leave Liverpool?,” Jones tweeted. "Completely untrue and really a poor attempt at a story."
Jones had been brought to Liverpool by former boss Roy Hodgson last August on a three-year deal.
The Socceroo made his debut for Derby County on the weekend, in their 4-1 loss at Cardiff City.
