SOCCEROOS goalkeeper Brad Jones has quit the World Cup camp to fly to France after his four year old son was reportedly diagnosed with leukaemia.

FFA released a statement on Sunday saying Jones had been granted leave and is said to have flown to be with his ex-wife Julie and their son Luca at their home in St Tropez in the south of France.
FFA will speak to FIFA this week should Jones be unable to return about a replacement under its 'special circumstances' provision.
Adelaide United goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic has remained with the team despite missing out on the final 23-man squad when it was announced on Tuesday.
He would be the logical replacement should Jones be unable to rejoin the squad ahead of the tournament, which begins on Friday.
Jones' departure is unlikely to effect Pim Verbeek's preparations for the opening game against Germany on June 13, as Mark Schwarzer has fully recovered from a thumb injury and played full games in the warm-up matches against USA and Denmark.
