Western Sydney Wanderers have appointed Josep Gombau as their new coach following the departure of Tony Popovic.
Gombau takes over ahead of Wanderers' round five clash with Melbourne Victory on Monday.
The Wanderers have had Hayden Foxe fill in the interim since Popovic's sudden departure ahead of the new season.
The side are fourth on the table after four games with one win and three draws.
Gombau, who took Adelaide United to FFA Cup glory in 2014, has been a part of Ange Postecoglou's coaching team since 2016.
He finishes up at the FFA having been Olyroos coach for just over a year.
