To see behind the scenes at training...

The pint-sized legend took a knock to the back of the knee at training yesterday and had to limp out of training midway through the session today.

If Sydney fail to score tomorrow, it could be their last game of the season and Juninho's last chance to turn out for the Sky Blues if his contract is not renewed for 2008/2009.

Coach John Kosmina admitted today that The Little Fella will now miss tomorrow night's game, with Ruben Zadkovich taking his place at attacking central midfield.

"He wanted us to rest him and see if it would improve tomorrow," said Kosmina. "But given the nature of the knock we had to try it out today.

"It was acute and wasn't going to go away in 48 hours. We needed to treat it with four days' rest so he had to get on with it but he couldn't get through training.

"So he's out....He's not playing. He's gone. We trained without him today."

The Brazilian World Cup winner has been plagued by injuries all season but was visibly distressed when he left the training field after trying a tricky agility workout.

He was led away by physio Stan Ivancic who comforted the star on the sidelines and applied an icepack to his right knee.

However Kosmina is confident he will be back in the side if Sydney get past Queensland tomorrow night.

They must score and at least draw with Roar to progress to the next round and the preliminary final against the loser of the Jets-Mariners semi final.

"He should be all right for next week if we get there," added Kosmina. "It's a big loss - he's been playing well."

With Zadko in the hole, Kosmina plans to push Steve Corica up into a striker's role alongside Alex Brosque with Brendon Santalab on the bench.

Kosmina added: “Ruben will come in and his energy in the middle of the park will be a bonus for us.

"There’s no point worrying about who’s out, we have a strong squad to play Queensland and I’m confident we have the firepower to beat them.”
