Socceroos striker Tomi Juric was sent off in controversial circumstances in FC Luzern's 2-1 Swiss Super League win over Sion on Saturday.
Juric received his marching orders on 81 minutes, when he went down inside the box under pressure from Sion defender Jan Bamert.
The Australia international had already picked up a yellow card and referee Nikolaj Hanni brandished another booking for the alleged dive.
Juric appeared shocked by the decision, having not appealed for a penalty.

Luzern boss Markus Babbel reportedly said post-game he felt it was a "dubious referee decision".
Juric has had a mixed season at club level, netting seven goals in all competitions across 19 appearances, but also having been sent off twice.
The ex-Western Sydney man's Luzern are currently seventh in the 10-team Swiss top flight.
