Juric opened the scoring on three minutes and added his side’s fourth to make it 4-3 in the 55th minute.

The goals were Juric’s first since he returned from injury, having hurt his knee playing for Luzern in early November.

Juric has netted six goals for Luzern this campaign, along with two strikes on Australia duty in 2018 World Cup qualifying.

The result sees Luzern qualify for the Swiss Cup semi-finals.

In the Dutch Cup semi-finals, Craig Goodwin's Sparta Rotterdam were knocked out after a 2-1 home loss to Vitesse.

Goodwin was a 58th minute substitute for Sparta, while Kenny Dougall was an unused sub.

In Scotland's Premier League, Ryan Edwards put in a full shift for Partick Thistle while Tom Rogic was out injured as Celtic moved a step closer to the title with a 4-0 win.

Elsewhere, Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield were knocked out of the FA Cup by his parent club Manchester City 5-1. Mooy was unavailable for selection.
