WESTERN Sydney Wanderers recruit Tomi Juric is the surprise inclusion in the latest Socceroos training camp.
Socceroos Head Coach Holger Osieck has selected 20 Australian-based players for the five-day camp on the Central Coast from Monday.
The camp is the first of three to be held in the lead-up to the East Asian Cup in Seoul from July 20-28.
Striker Juric, 22, signed a two-year deal with the Wanderers in late May after joining from Adelaide, scoring twice in a seven-game spell after five years of playing in Croatia.
However, the western Sydney native, who has yet to represent Australia at any level, came through the youth ranks of Sydney United before leaving for Croatia as a 16-year old.
The squad: Dario Vidosic, Eugene Galekovic (Adelaide United), Ivan Franjic, Jade North, Matt Smith (Brisbane Roar), Joshua Rose, Mitchell Duke, Trent Sainsbury (Central Coast Mariners), Archie Thompson, Mark Milligan, Mitch Nicholls, Nathan Coe (Melbourne Victory), Craig Goodwin, Mark Birighitti, Ruben Zadkovich (Newcastle Jets), Joshua Risdon, Michael Thwaite, Scott Jamieson (Perth Glory), Aaron Mooy, Tomi Juric (Western Sydney Wanderers).
