Socceroo Tomi Juric has rejected the chance to join English club Reading FC and will stay with Swiss side FC Luzern.
According to reports, Reading made an offer of around $2 million Euros Juric but the striker decided to remain in Switzerland.
Juric has scored four goals in 17 appearances for FC Luzern, after arriving from Dutch club Roda JC. The 25-year old left the A-League in 2015.
He has not played for the past two months with a knee injury.
Reading, who are managed by former Dutch international Jaap Stam, are currently third on the Championship table and are pushing for promotion into the Premier League.
Juric has 20 caps for Australia after making his debut in 2013.
Fellow Socceroo James Meredith is also staying put with Bradford City declining to sell him. Meredith, who is off-contract at the end of this season, had attracted interest from Leeds United and Norwich.
