Claudio Ranieri's side have collected maximum points from their opening two games of the season and will desperate to continue the trend on their immediate return to Italy's top flight.

David Trezeguet has been in blistering form for the Bianconeri during the early stages, netting four goals over the two matches to take his Serie A total to an impressive 99 career goals.

But the encounter also marks an emotional occasion for Vincenzo Iaquinta and Sergio Almiron, both of whom used to ply their trade for Udinese.

And the former is definitely looking forward to the clash.

"It'll be strange playing against the club where I spent seven years of my life," Italy World Cup winner Iaquinta told Juve's official club website. "I'll feel weird, but the return match at the Friuli Stadium will be even more emotional for me."

Roma share the lead with Juve at the top of the table, and they will be just as keen to maintain their perfect record when they travel to Reggina.

The Amaranto themselves have had an unbeaten start to the campaign, albeit with two draws, and they will be hoping to extend their good recent home record against Roma.

Luciano Spalletti's side have won only one of their last four trips to Calabria, and Reggina goalkeeper Andrea Campagnolo is determined to continue the trend.

"It will be a particularly hard contest for us because Roma are a team of champions who play great football. We are aware of the quality in their side but we will also pose a threat," he told Reggina's official website.

Serie A giants AC Milan and Internazionale both lie just behind on four points, and will be ready to pounce should either of the top two slip up.

Milan travel to joint-bottom side Siena on Saturday, while city rivals Inter host Catania the following day.

Fiorentina and Atalanta are also level with the Milan duo, but that is due to change when they go head-to-head at the Stadio Franchi on Sunday.

Fans are likely to be expecting a clash full of attacking flair after the pair more than proved their abilities during the opening games of the new term.

Sampdoria, the only other team two points adrift of the summit, are preparing to travel to Napoli.

Livorno and Empoli join Siena at the bottom of the Serie A standings going into week three of the new season.

But Empoli boss Luigi Cagni faces a tough task if he is to mastermind their first points of the year away to unbeaten Lazio in Saturday's other encounter, while Livorno will find it just as tough at Genoa.

In the weekend's other games, Palermo come up against Torino and Parma take on Cagliari.
