Juventus have signed veteran striker Luca Toni on a permanent transfer from Genoa, the Turin giants confirmed today.
The 33-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract which will keep him in Turin until June 2012.
A statement from Juve read: "Juventus announces it has reached an agreement with Genoa for the permanent and free transfer of Luca Toni."
Juve moved in for Toni after losing Italy international Fabio Quagliarella for the rest of the season to a knee injury.
A World Cup-winning striker with Italy, Toni joined Genoa last summer from Bayern Munich and has struck three goals in Serie A this season.
Toni is expected to make his debut with the Bianconeri in Sunday's match at Napoli.
