Two second-half goals from Shin Young-rok proved enough for the visitors to claim the points and open a gap over rivals Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma.

Shin opened the scoring six minutes after the break before netting his second of the game after 68 minutes to seal an impressive win for the Bluewings.

Seongnam moved into second after ending Incheon United`s unbeaten record.

A Brazilian double saw off the hosts as Mota opened the scoring for Seongnam midway through the first period before Dudu doubled the advantage on the hour mark.

Chunnam Dragons followed up their maiden victory in this season`s Asian Champions League in midweek with a first league win after a 1-0 triumph over Gyeongnam FC.

In similar fashion to Wednesday`s success over Thailand`s Chonburi FC, the FA Cup holders left it late as with only four minutes remaining, Koh Ki-goo laid the ball off to Yoo Hong-yeol in the box and he fired home to lift the Dragons off the bottom of the table.

"It was a tough game for us," said Chunnam coach Park Hang-seo.

"We had to make a couple of early substitutions due to injuries but we played well for the most part.

"It`s our first league win of the season so from now our target is to keep playing better and improving."

Defending champions Pohang Steelers' early-season struggles continued as they were held to a goalless draw by lowly Daejeon Citizen.

It ends a tough week for the Steelers after a 1-0 loss at Chinese champions Changchun Yatai on Wednesday.

Former Deajeon player Denilson went closest for Pohang from a corner but Citizen goalkeeper Choi Eun-sung was equal to the effort.
