JEJU United maintained their lead at the top of the K-League after thrashing Gangwon FC 4-1 today.
The islanders had virtually collected the three points by the midway point of the first half. Kim Eun-jung opened the scoring after just four minutes and, four minutes later, Neko made it two. Brazilian compatriot Santos added a third in the 23rd minute.
Any doubts about the destination of the points were removed immediately after the break as Kim grabbed his second and the team's fourth.
Kim Yong-hu grabbed a late consolation for the hosts.
FC Seoul stay four points behind in second after coming back from a goal down to defeat third-placed Gyeongnam FC 3-2.
Seo Sang-min gave the visitors an early lead but three goals in nine second-half minutes - two from Jung Jo-gook and the other from Ha Dae-sung - gave Seoul the points though Gyeongnam scored with two minutes remaining to ensure a nervous finish.
South Korea's remaining Asian Champions League representative Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma recovered from their long midweek trip to draw 0-0 at Busan I'Park.
Seongnam lost the first leg of the semi-final 4-3 at the Saudi Arabian of Al Shabab, but couldn't find a way past the Busan backline.
Daejeon Citizen came back from three goals down at Incheon United to draw 3-3 while Suwon Bluewings defeated Chunnam Dragons 1-0.
Elsewhere, Pohang Steelers defeated Gwangju Sangmu 1-0 while Lee Dong-gook scored a spectacular scissors kick to give champions Jeonbuk Motors a 1-0 win at Ulsan.
