The Paraguayan striker struck three times after the break to give the visitors a welcome win that almost seals their place in the end of season play-offs. Kim Shin-wook scored twice for Ulsan in the first half.

"We are not in the play-offs yet but this was a good win," Ulsan boss Kim Ho-gon said.

"We need to keep playing well and doing our best until the end of the season. We have a tough game at Jeonbuk next week and that is a real test for us."

Jeonbuk Motors continued their poor recent form with a goalless draw at home to Gwangju Sangmu and slip to sixth in the table.

"This was an important game for us," said Jeonbuk boss Choi Kang-hee. "Gwangju played well and we had many chances but couldn't take them."
