FC Seoul have extended their lead at the top of the K-League with a 1-0 win over Gyeongnam.
Park Hee-Do scored the only goal of the game in the 30th minute to send Seoul seven points clear at the top of the championship table.
Second-placed Jeonbuk Motors dropped off the pace after they were hammered 3-0 at home by Pohang Steelers.
Kim Dae-Ho scored the opening goal in the 24th minute before doubling his side's advantage shortly after the interval.
Park Seong-Ho sealed the victory immediately after Kim's second strike to lift the Steelers to within one point of fourth-placed Ulsan.
In the relegation round, Daejeon Citizen defeated Gangwon 5-3 in an eight-goal thriller with Alex Terra and Ianis Zicu both netting hat-tricks.
After Zicu cancelled out Terra's opener, Daejeon Citizen took a two-goal lead into half-time following goals to Kevin Oris and Terra.
Zicu got the visitors back in it with a goal after the break before completing his hat-trick to level the match at 3-3 in the 58th minute.
But Terra responded with his third goal five minutes later before Kyung-In Han finally put the result beyond doubt with a strike in the 89th minute.
In Sunday's other match, Daegu produced a stunning comeback to pinch a point in a 2-2 draw at Chunnam Dragons.
The visitors were trailing after goals from Joo Sung-Hwan and Ko Cha-Won but scored twice in the final five minutes through Choi Ho-Jung and Hwang Il-Soo to grab a share of the spoils.
