Pohang grabbed a 2-0 lead at half-time thanks to a first-half brace from Shin Jin-Ho but Daegu were level with 22 minutes remaining before goals from Cho Chan-Ho and Bae Chun-Suk clinched victory for the Steelers.

The victory keeps Pohang two points clear at the top of the K-League, while Ulsan (24 points) are second, ahead of Incheon United and Jeju United (both on 23).

In Pohang, Shin completed his brace in the space of three first-half minutes, scoring his first goal in the 36th minute.

Daegu hit back through Song Chang-Ho and Lee Ji-Nam but Cho gave the Steelers the lead again with 17 minutes remaining before Bae wrapped up the win in the 90th minute.

Ulsan kept the pressure on Pohang with Han Sang-Woon scoring twice, while Roberto and Byun Woong also scored as they cruised past Gyeongnam.

Reigning champions Seoul slipped to 10th on the K-League table with an incredible 4-4 draw away to Jeju, while Incheon moved up to third with a 3-0 victory over Busan I'Park and Jeonbuk Motors defeated Gangwon 3-1.

In other results, Seongnam defeated Daejeon Citizen 2-0 and Chunnam Dragons knocked off Suwon Bluewings 1-0.
