AC Milan playmaker Kaka admits he "can't bear" the pain he is still suffering from his problematic foot injury but hopes to return to action as soon as possible.
Kaka has not played since suffering the injury in Milan's 1-1 draw against Reggina over a month ago.
Initial tests predicted he would be sidelined for around a fortnight but the Brazil international has no idea when he will be back on the pitch.
"Unfortunately I had this injury which is quite rare among footballers, it doesn't happen a lot," he said. "I hurt myself in a particular area, in the Lisfranc joint, where all the foot's tendons go through.
"It's an area you always put pressure on and an area which swells up.
"Every time in the past few days that I've put my foot on the ground, it swells up and the pain is so much that I can't bear it.
"Managing pain is something I know and that I have faced many times with my knee. As soon as I manage bear the pain, I will return to playing even if I still feel a bit of pain.
"Until last week I haven't succeeded, I hope that I can bear the pain more and better for the next few games."
