Robbie Keane hailed the efforts of the whole Liverpool team as they came from behind to beat PSV Eindhoven 3-1 and secure top spot in Group D.
Ryan Babel, Albert Riera and David Ngog were all on target for Liverpool, who went behind to a first-half strike from Danko Lazovic.
Keane has been criticised for his lack of goals since his £20million move from Tottenham Hotspur this summer but, despite not scoring tonight, he was happy with his performance after playing in Ngog for Pool's winner.
"Don't get me wrong, I love to score but the most important thing is the team's performance and the result," Keane told ITV4.
"As long as I keep working hard for the team and keep going I'll be here for a long time and I'll score a lot of goals."
Captain for the night Jamie Carragher hailed Keane's performance.
"It wasn't an easy match," the defender admitted.
"They obviously had a little more to play for but we wanted to finish top of the group. It was a massive game for them.
"We conceded in the first half but our second half attacking performance from the lads and Keano was superb."

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez declined to single out Keane for praise despite an efficient performance from the Republic of Ireland striker.
"The team was doing well. They all worked hard and Robbie was one of them," Benitez said.
"I was pleased with the performance of the whole team. Clearly it is better for us if he scoring goals."
The Spaniard saluted his team's character after they managed to grab all three points despite going 1-0 down after 36 minutes.
"We created too many problems for ourselves and we conceded a goal from a corner that maybe wasn't," he added.
"In the second half we showed character and commitment, though."
