The Tractor Boys have been nothing short of dismal so far this season, with just five points from 11 league matches and no wins under their belt.

Sousa has fared slightly better since taking the reins at Swansea over the summer, with his side sitting in 14th place on the back of three victories.

Both Sousa and Keane enjoyed immense success during their playing careers, lifting the Champions League trophy with Juventus and Manchester United respectively.

And the Portuguese boss admits it will be interesting to pit his wits against his Ipswich counterpart at Portman Road tomorrow.

"Two Champions League winning managers coming up against each other as managers in the Championship; that doesn't happen too often does it?" he told www.swanseacity.net.

"But I'm sure Roy Keane will agree when I say it's much better to play in a Champions League final than manage."

Town striker Jonathan Stead admits anything less than three points against the Swans will hit the club hard.

"It would obviously be a massive blow if we didn't win against Swansea,'' Stead told the East Anglian Daily Times .

"The three points are on our mind, 100%. If we don't get them, it will be another big setback.

"The bonus would be that we don't have to wait long for our next game to put it right, but we don't even want to think about that scenario."

At the top end of the table, West Brom have an eye on leaders Newcastle ahead of their meeting with Reading.

Albion are three points behind the pacesetters and will be favourites to see off a Reading side who are perched just above the relegation zone.

West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo is taking nothing for granted, however.

"It's early and the table probably doesn't reflect their performances., although we would expect them to be higher," the Italian said on www.wba.co.uk.

"They are dangerous because they've got more points away - they exploit space on counter-attacks, which is how they beat Preston."

Royals boss Brendan Rodgers is hoping their away form will continue to serve them well, with seven of their 10 points coming on the road.

"We haven't had a great start, I will always be honest enough to look at that," he told www.readingfc.co.uk

"This international break has given us chance to reflect. Our statistics show that a lot of what we do is right up there with the top teams, but the area we need to work on is shots on target. The difference is in the box.

"I've got brave players here and it's a case of trying things in the final third. Sometimes the quality can be better but we need to hit the target more, especially at home. Away we've been good."

Newcastle face a tricky trip to Nottingham Forest's City Ground, while north east rivals Middlesbrough will be hoping to keep the pressure on the top two when they take on Watford.

Plymouth and Peterborough are aiming to climb out of the bottom three when they face Blackpool and Bristol City respectively, and Derby will attempt to break their away duck when they travel to Leicester.

Elsewhere tomorrow, Cardiff entertain Crystal Palace, Doncaster meet Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, QPR take on Preston, Sheffield United make the trip to Scunthorpe and Sheffield Wednesday face Coventry.
