Melbourne Victory import Joseph Keenan is set to be released by the club in the coming weeks and join League One side Carlisle United.

Keenan is likely to be the one missing out on the third visa spot (with the places going to Brebner, Hernandez, and Love)of the Asian Champions League, and is reportedly not happy with how he has been progressing at the club.

Carlisle, fighting for promotion, have already been in talks with Victory about securing Keenan's services. With Keenan going it will free up some much need space in the Victory's salary cap, and they will seek to find a local replacement for Keenan.

FourFourTwo Belief Factor: 7/10 - That's a big fall for Keenan, from Chelsea to Carlisle via Victory. Not sure he'd go for that...
