ASIAROOS WRAP: Socceroos striker Joshua Kennedy was missing again for Nagoya Grampus as they defeated newly promoted Cerezo Osaka 1-0 in the J.League on Sunday.
Kennedy, who missed the midweek 1-0 loss to Sanfrecce Hiroshima with a back problem, was unavailable again as Nagoya laboured to victory over Osaka.
Keiji Yoshimura scored the only goal of the game in injury-time to claim an important three points for Nagoya who are now second.
In Japan's J2.League, Mark Milligan put in a full shift as JEF United Chiba defeated FC Gifu 2-0. JEF United are now second in the race for promotion.
In China's League One, Brendon Santalab played a full game but drew a blank as Chengdu Blades drew 0-0 with John Tambouras' Guangzhou Evergrande. Tambouras did not play.
