Perth were leading 2-1 early in the second half thanks to a 51st minute goal from Keogh as they were on track for a comfortable three points.

But a defensive lapse allowed Brendon Santalab to score midway through the second half as the game finished 2-2.

“It’s very frustrating but credit to the Wanderers. They put on a good show and they punished us for lack of discipline and positioning to be fair,” Keogh told Fox Sports.

“I felt comfortable on the pitch,” the Irishman explained when talking about the last 25 minutes of the game.

“Sometimes when teams get a foothold in the game you back off for a little bit and when they have players like [Nico] Martinez and Santalab playing on the shoulder, you can’t give them that space and time because they are going to punish you.”

Perth coach Kenny Lowe was forced to watch the match from the stands as he served the second of his two-game touchline ban, but Keogh believes that was no excuse for giving up the three points.

“You obviously want him on the bench with the team,” Keogh said.

“But it doesn’t matter, we’ve got a job to do and we know exactly how he wants us to play.

“I think we did implement it at times today but at other times we lacked a bit of composure. The result could have gone either way.”

Glory find themselves fourth on the ladder and are set to face league leaders Sydney FC this Sunday in what will be a testing matchup.
