Women's Player of the Year nominee Samantha Kerr has scored a record-breaking four goals to lead Sky Blue FC to a miraculous 5-4 win over Seattle Reign on Sunday (AEST).
Kerr's haul was the most ever scored by an individual player in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
The feat was made more remarkable given Kerr's side trailed 3-0 at half-time, before her intervention.

Kerr completed her hat-trick on 70 minutes to level the match at 3-3, before Seattle went ahead again, only for Maya Hayes to equalise in stoppage-time.
Then Kerr stepped up four minutes into stoppage-time with the match-winning header from a corner.
The record haul comes days after Kerr was nominated for the Best FIFA Women's Player in 2017.
Kerr top scored as the Matildas won the Tournament of Nations earlier this month, while she won the W-League's Julie Dolan Medal in May too.
