Harry, who has been frustrated over the last few weeks with a nagging groin injury, returned to the Turkish club's starting line up for the home fixture.

He helped tee up the final goal before making way for Aydin Yilmaz midway through the second period.

Kewell's men already had victory wrapped up by that stage thanks to goals from Arda Turan on 26 minutes, Servet Cetin on 32 and then Cassio Lincoln on the hour.

The victory saw Galatasaray move up to fourth in the table, some three points behind leaders Besiktas.

Another happy Turkish-based Socceroo was Sivasspor goalkeeper Michael Petkovic.

The man who now seems Pim Verbeek's favourite number two to Mark Schwarzer clocked up another clean sheet as his team defeated Ankaragucu 3-0. Not even an early yellow card for Petko could spoil the day as his side joined Galatasaray on 14 points in the Turkish Superlig table.

It wasn't all joy for Aussies in Turkey though. Bruce Djite and James Troisi had to be content again with bench duties as Genclerbirligi crashed 3-1 at home to league leaders Besiktas.

James entered the fray on 58 minutes to replace Hakan Aslantas while Djite came on 19 minutes from time as a substitute for Mustafa Peketemek.

The game had been as good as lost long before either Aussie entered the fray though with Besiktas racing into a 3-0 lead after just 13 minutes.

The defeat leaves Genclerbirligi sitting in 12th spot, some nine points behind the leaders.
