EXCLUSIVE: Socceroo flyer Harry Kewell is targeting next month's friendly against Nigeria as his return to the green and gold.
Kewell's reps have told au.fourfourtwo.com that the 29-year-old winger will be available for the friendly against the world-ranked 23 Africans.
“Harry will be available for the Socceroos match on 17 November against Nigeria - and he is fully fit,” added Kewell's reps.
The Aussie played 45 minutes mid-week for the Liverpool reserves against Newcastle reserves last week.
The World Cup hero impressed with a sharp 45 minutes capping his return with a goal.
However the Kewell camp refuted reports the Socceroo was withdrawn after 45 minutes with a knock.
Kewell's reps denied there were any injury as a result of the game and said simply: “Harry had no problems.”
The Socceroos are set to be coached against the Africans by interim supremo Rob Baan, the FFA's technical director.
Fulham's Craven Cottage stadium will be the venue for the match which will be the final game ahead of Australia 's first 2010 World Cup qualifier to be played on Wednesday 6 February.
Australia will find out who they face in their first phase of World Cup qualifying when the draw takes place on November 25 in Durban, South Africa.
