HARRY Kewell scored on his competitive debut as Galatasaray opened the new Turkish Super Lig season by hammering 10-man Denizlispor 4-1.

In his second game for The Lions, coming back from a training injury, he started in the country's season opener in his first game at Galatasaray's intimidating home stadium.
His legion of new fans who have already dubbed him 'Buyucu', the magician, were not disappointed.
Kewell struck in the 34th minute thanks to another nice cross from Hasan Sas, Kewell toed the ball in at speed beating a defender and the keeper.
The devoted Galatasaray fans were delirious to see the Australian score for the second time in as many matches as well as being the first scorer in both games.
The after goal celebrations were prompted by the announcer's 'Harry...' and the infamous stadium shook with the tens of thousands of fans reply of 'KEWELL!' to be repeated three times.
The former Liverpool winger opened the scoring after 36 minutes before Fatih Yigen equalised nine minutes later.
The game turned when Murat Karakoc was sent off two minutes after the interval and Hakan Kadir Balta capitalised by restoring the home side's advantage in the 76th minute.
Substitute Baris Ozbek added a third after 84 minutes and Cassio Lincoln completed the rout in stoppage time.
Gaziantepspor upset last season's runners up Fenerbache with a late Rodrigo Tabata strike to secure a 1-0 win.
Elsewhere, Bursaspor began the season with a 2-1 win over Hacettepe SK, Istanbul Buyuksehir drew 0-0 with Eskisehirspor and Sivasspor were held to a goaless draw by 10-man Kayserispor.
