SOCCEROO Harry Kewell has become an instant hero at his new club Galatasaray by coming off the bench as a sub and immediately scoring on his debut.

His new Turkish champion side had been held in a stalemate deadlock against Kayseri in the Super Cup fixture until Kewell's entry after 66 minutes.
With Galatasaray deep in Kayseri's territory, Hasan Sas delivered a cross from the byline that seemed to overshoot the goal.
But unmarked on the end of it was Kewell to power home a header that smashed into the net.
After scoring within seconds of taking to the field, Kewell went on to play brilliantly in midfield and down the left side.
Galatasaray scored again 10 minutes later from a Nonda breakaway, thanks to an assist from Harry Kewell.
In the 30 minutes he was on the field he raised the game to a different level with his man of the match performance.
The Turkish league proper starts next week. Kewell missed an earlier chance through injury to debut for his club in their Euro tie midweek.
