ANKARASPOR moved into second place in the Turkish Super Lig table following a goalless home draw against reigning champions Galatasaray.
The result, one of three goalless draws from today's four league fixtures, moves Ankaraspor three points behind Trabzonspor who have a game in hand.
Gala move up to fourth, five points adrift of the leaders.
Fenerbahce's frustrating season continued as their away fixture with Ankaragucu remained locked to leave them in sixth place.
Antalyaspor and Kocaelispor were also unable to find the net meaning Gaziantepspor's 2-0 win over Genclerbirligi represented the only goals scored in the Turkish league today.
Even those goals came late with Gaziantepspor substitute Da Silva Beto breaking the deadlock with 11 minutes remaining, before Erman Ozgur added a second four minutes later.
