OLYROOS midfielder Neil Kilkenny lobbed in a 30 metre strike to help Leeds United demolish Yeovil Town.
The Australian had been an injury doubt for the League One clash at Elland Road but recovered to take his place in the starting line up.
Two minutes before half-time, with Leeds already a goal up through Jermaine Beckford, Kilkenny looked up and sent the ball over Yeovil keeper Josh Wagenaar to double the lead.
Kilkenny then teed up Beckford's second goal six minutes into the second half with the Leeds striker going on to complete his hat-trick.
Elsewhere in League One, Socceroos defender Chris Coyne gave away a penalty but still helped Colchester United to a 3-2 win over relegation-haunted Swindon Town.
Gold Coast United-bound striker Joel Porter was in from the start for Hartlepool United but couldn't prevent them slumping to a 2-1 defeat at Stockport County.
