NEW Zealand international Chris Killen has begun life in China in perfect style, with the winner in Shenzhen Ruby's 2-1 win over Liaoning Whowin on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old All Whites striker, who completed his switch from Middlesbrough to Shenzhen during the week, came off the bench in Wednesday's Chinese Super League to score the decisive goal.
With the scores locked at 1-1 on 80 minutes, Killen did brilliantly to control a cross with his chest, before producing a lovely volleyed finish past the Liaoning goalkeeper.
The result takes Shenzhen up to seventh on the CSL table.
Earlier Andrezinho had put Liaoning ahead after a quarter of an hour, but Shenzhen responded in the second-half courtesy of Yuan Lin's close-range headered goal, before Killen's late winner.
