Slovakian import Kisel will make his first A-League home appearance as the Sky Blues aim to continue their winning start to the season  when they play Adelaide United on Sunday.

"I am really looking forward to this game and I want to invite everybody to come and see us do our best," he said.  "They played very well their first game, (from) what I have seen.   I hope we will have a big crowd on Sunday to support us."

Sydney entered the new campaign on the back of a strong pre-season and continued that good form with a 3-2 away win over North Queensland Fury in the opening round.

The Reds also looked good in their 1-0 win over highly-fancied Perth Glory and Sydney will face a stiff fight for the three points this weekend.

"They surprised me, I think they were one of the best teams in the first round," said Kisel. "You can see that they are well organised.

"It's important to do well because we need to declare that we are a good side and that we are ready for a good season."

The Sky Blues are expecting a big turnout for their first home hit-out of the season and are aiming for a crowd in excess of 20,000 at the stadium this weekend.

Kisel added: "We want to play well and entertain the fans.  It's important to invite (the fans) for other matches.  We want to have a big crowd, not only for first game but in coming games as well."
