Jurgen Klopp has denied reports he disclosed information about Jose Mourinho's managerial future to a German newspaper.
The Borussia Dortmund manager reportedly told Bild that Mourinho had decided to quit Real Madrid and return to former club Chelsea next term.
"It is an absolutely ridiculous story. I never told anyone that Mourinho is going to Chelsea or another club. I'm not a person who does things like that," said Klopp.
"I heard this story before our game with Fortuna and I have to admit I was very sad and angry because it is completely false.
"It is a made up story. Mourinho is a colleague and a friend and I would never mess around in such a manner."
Dortmund face Mourinho's side in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Tuesday. The German outfit hold a 4-1 lead from the first meeting at the Westfalenstadion thanks to four goals from Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.
Klopp's side continued their recent good form on Saturday, battling to a 2-1 win at Fortuna Dusseldorf thanks to goals from Nuri Sahin and Jakub Blaszczykowski.
