A 2-0 win over Hamburg has taken Dortmund seven clear of second-placed Mainz and 15 points ahead of the defending champions Bayern Munich, but Klopp is still taking it game by game and not getting carried away.

"We have our own goals and they are to play football week in, week out," he told www.borussia-dortmund.com.

"That is not always the same as what everybody else wants us to believe, but we can deal with that.

Dortmund have gone 11 games unbeaten and would appear to be cruising towards the title, yet that did not prevent Klopp from losing his temper with the fourth official after his side was not given a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area.

He confronted Stefan Trautmann on the sideline as he failed to control his emotions.

"I have got to say I am an idiot," said Klopp.

"I have seen the images again and I really do look like an idiot.

"It even shocks me to see the replays, but I shook his hand in the end and will apologise again."

Dortmund's general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke enjoyed his evening watching on from the stands together with over 80,000 fans who he says deserve to dream about the title.

"It is great to hear the fans singing about winning the league and enjoying themselves, but those in charge have got to keep their cool and that is definitely the case," he said.
