AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati will be out for the rest of the season after damaging his cruciate ligament in today's 5-1 victory at Siena, according to reports.
Abbiati was stretchered off in the 11th minute of the match following a collision with team-mate Giuseppe Favalli.
According to Italian media the 31-year-old will undergo an operation on his right knee tomorrow and will be sidelined for around six months.
