“We've got plenty of experience and I want as much of that on the park as possible, if that gives you a bit of a clue," he said this morning.

“I'll have a look at the Central Coast. I haven't seen their games yet. I'll decide how we go about it and I'll decide tomorrow morning.

“If we win great, if not, we go to Newcastle next week. It's one game at a time. It has to be. We've only got 12 matches to go.”

Two sessions into the Kossie reign and the Sydney squad looks comfortable with their new coach, a point Kosmina picked up on.

“They seem fairly happy. I haven't asked them how they feel. We've only had two sessions so they haven't had time to get cranky with me,” he joked.

“Players are players. Some days they're up, sometimes they're down. It's my job to pick them up when they're down. But everyone seems happy. There's a feel good vibe.

“It's hard to judge. We've done two completely different types of sessions. And there are a lot of blokes here that I don't know, such as some of the younger guys.”

Kosmina however did say he was impressed by youngster Adam Biddle's willingness to train despite a knock. “That shows me he's hungry,"he said. "That's a positive.”

Kosmina will be boosted by the return of midfield talisman Steve Corica for the NSW derby this Sunday.

And FC's star imports Juninho and Michael Bridges will play on Sunday, the latter if his visa arrives in time.

“Bridges is a great player. You can see that out on the pitch. He's a clever player,” noted Kosmina.

As for Brazilan wizard Juninho, the coach joked, “He's put his hand up to play, the one that's not sore! He's not here for a suntan.”
