Socceroos winger Robbie Kruse made his debut for his new club VfL Bochum in Germany's 2.Bundesliga overnight.
Kruse, who has struggled for game-time over the past two seasons, was handed his debut as Bochum drew 1-1 away to MSV Duisburg.
The 28-year-old was deployed on the right flank before being replaced on 65 minutes.
The Australian wasn't in Bochum's squad for their season opener against St Pauli last week.

Elsewhere, Ben Halloran was a 76th minute substitute as Heidenheim lost 2-0 to Eintracht Braunschweig.
In England's Championship overnight, Massimo Luongo put in a full shift in midfield and hit the woodwork with a 16-yard strike in the first half as QPR defeated Reading 2-0.
Jackson Irvine played a full game in a three-man midfield but wasted a good first-half chance as Burton Albion lost 1-0 to Cardiff City.
New skipper Bailey Wright put in a full shift as Bristol City knocked off Barnsley 3-1.
Mile Jedinak was absent for Aston Villa in their 1-1 draw with Hull City due to a groin injury.

Aiden O'Neill (67th minute sub) and Ryan Williams (83rd minute sub) made their club debuts as Fleetwood defeated Rotherham 2-0.
Cameron Burgess put in a full shift for Scunthorpe, while Bradden Inman was an unused sub for Rochdale.
Tom Rogic was a 75th minute substitute as Celtic began the new Scottish Premier League season with a 4-1 win over Hearts.
Ryan Edwards was absent due to suspension as Partick Thistle lost to Hibernian 3-1.

James Holland put in a full shift as LASK Linz defeated St Polten 2-0 in Austria's Bundesliga.
Alex Gersbach played a full game as Rosenborg knocked off Kristiansund 4-1 in Norway's Tippeligaen.
In Asia, Milos Degenek and Mitch Duke played full games in the J.League, while Nathan Burns and Oliver Bozanic were absent. There were no Aussies in action in China and Korea.
