Socceroos striker Robbie Kruse could miss out of Australia's intercontinental World Cup play-off against Honduras next month.
Ange Postecoglou named his 25-man squad for the two-legged tie on Tuesday, with Kruse named in the list.
However, speaking to the media, Postecoglou revealed Kruse is a concern due to a knock picked up for his club side Vfl Bochum.
Kruse was not in the squad on Monday as Bochum drew 0-0 with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
“He got a bit of a knock to the knee in the last league game, so he’s a little bit of a concern at the moment as well,” Postecoglou said of Kruse.
“We’ve had Les Gelis our head physio for the last 10 days. He’s spent time with Mile, Lecks, Krusey … and he’s working really closely with the clubs to give the players every chance to be ready.”
