Socceroo Robbie Kruse made it back-to-back 90-minute appearances for VfL Bochum overnight as his side suffered a 2-0 loss to Arminia Bielefeld in Germany's 2.Bundesliga.
Kruse joined Bochum in the off-season after splitting with Chinese club Liaoning Whowin, where he was used sparingly.
The 28-year-old winger has struggled for game-time at club level over the past two years but has remained a regular in Ange Postecoglou's Socceroos squads.
Kruse appears to now have a club where he'll earn regular minutes, with his latest full shift, coming after playing a full game last week in the DFB Pokal against Nottingen.
The former Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar man debuted for Bochum earlier this month, playing 65 minutes against MSV Duisburg.
Elsewhere overnight, Awer Mabil started and played 76 minutes as Pacos Ferreira lost 2-1 to Feirense in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
Dylan McGowan wasn't in the Pacos Ferreira matchday squad.
