Adelaide United boss Marco Kurz wants more communication between A-League coaches and referees.
The German addressed the media in Adelaide on Thursday in light of United's controversial 2-2 draw with Central Coast when they were reduced to 10 men.
Kurz claimed his side played "10 men against 12" on Fox Sports post-game and was this week issued with a show cause notice by Football Federation Australia about the comments.
"I think we need more communication between the coaches and the referees," Kurz said.
"For example in Germany, I don't know the world, we find a big table with the coaches and refs. We must find a way that it works better together."
Kurz added he had no regrets about his post-game comments although he put it down to "emotion".
He reiterated his point on communication, stating it is vital in every aspect of life.
"I have a discussion with my team," he said.
"I'll say 'you must do another way' and he says 'in my point of view it's this' and then I find a decision for the future.
"That's maybe a good way for the future."
"To discuss and speak about things in our life is important in friendship, with your girlfriend, wife and your kids. It's always important."
The ex-Kaiserslautern, Hoffenheim and Fortuna Dusseldorf boss added that he hadn't heard from the FFA since Saturday's draw.
"No. Nobody has spoken with us, not with me," he said.
Kurz wouldn't be drawn on the show cause notice either.
"It's okay. I will not talk about the last game," he said.
"We've spoken enough about this. It's a lot of emotion during the game."
