NEW Zealand will assist Kuwait's preparations for their Asian Cup clash with the Socceroos in Canberra next month.
Kuwait will base themselves in Auckland for a 10-day training camp ahead of the match on March 5. As part of the build up, Kuwait are expected to play a couple of warm up matches against New Zealand-based sides although not Wellington Phoenix.
It is thought both Auckland City and Waitkere will give the Kuwait team a work out before they head across the Tasman to face Pim Verbeek's boys.
The Socceroos opened their qualifying campaign with a 0-0 draw in Indonesia and Verbeek is again expected to use A-League players to make up his squad for the clash.
