Star Matildas’ striker Kyah Simon has moved from folding NWSL club Boston Breakers to Houston Dash, being chosen as the sixth pick in the competition's dispersal draft.
Simon’s former Boston club entered receivership this week due to unpaid debts and an inability to find a buyer, casting a pall over the highly publicised success of the U.S NWSL competition.

Boston finished ninth last season in the formerly ten-team league, with Simon scoring 19 goals in 53 total appearances for the Allston club, throughout two spells.
Houston placed only one spot above the Breakers last season in eighth, are are badly in need of a dynamic striker. Simon is set to match up with the likes of Christen Press and Claire Falknor at the Texas club.
