Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm was happy with his side's work ethic in their 2-0 Bundesliga win over Schalke on Sunday.
A Franck Ribery double helped Bayern to a win that keeps them four points behind table-toppers Borussia Dortmund, who also won on Sunday.
Lahm was pleased with the pressure Schalke were put under and Bayern's work going forward.
"I think we put our opponents under a lot of pressure today, more than recently," Lahm said.
"We looked a lot better going forward too, our movement was a lot better than it has been, and you can see that from the chances we created."
"The only annoying thing is that we didn't take any of our chances earlier so that we could have been in front earlier, as that would have made things a lot easier."
Ribery said he was especially motivated ahead of the match.
"I was really up for it today, I really wanted the win," Ribery said.
"I guess that's normal given the situation the team had found itself in. Everyone is glad to have got this win as we look to turn things around."
"We've reacted well today in a tough match against Schalke. It's good for the team's confidence to have got the three points."
