The 34-year-old's contract expires in the summer, and speculation has circulated over whether he will be offered a new deal, but his representative said he will not be at Stamford Bridge for the 2013-14 season.

"At this moment, Lampard is exclusively thinking about the present, in other words Chelsea," Steve Kutner told cittaceleste.it.

"As for the future, the only certainty is that he will change team at the end of the season. Frank wants to pay for a great side, capable of challenging for important targets and where he could win more trophies.

"We won't rule anything out. The only thing that counts is that the player is happy and can continue playing at a high level."

When asked on possible destinations, Kutner confirmed that a side in the Champions League would be Lampard's preferred destination, and that an Italian side - including Lazio - is a possibility.

"As I said, a champion of Lampard's calibre deserves the biggest stage. Serie A? Why not? Only time will tell if Lazio could be the ideal destination."
