Socceroos goalkeeper Mitch Langerak has been replaced by Adam Federici for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers against Japan and Thailand and will remain in Europe to settle his club future before the transfer window closes.
Federici will join the squad in Tokyo on Wednesday morning.
Fox Sports reports Langerak could move to La Liga, with newly promoted Levante.
“Mitch has some issues at club level that he needs to resolve,” Australian coach Ange Postecoglou said.
“Speaking with Mitch, it was in our mutual interests that he focus on that at the moment rather than come into camp.

“Adam is a very experienced goalkeeper and we know we will have three very good options in that position for the upcoming matches.
“All other members of the squad have arrived in Japan and are fit and ready to play."
Langerak was demoted this season after Stuttgart signed Ron-Robert Zieler.
The former Melbourne Victory player's move would end his seven-year stint in Germany.
