The Czech boss led the Sky Blues to both the A-League Premiership and now the Championship after their dramatic 4-2 penalty shootout victory over Melbourne on Saturday night.
Lavicka told Fox Sports after the victory in Melbourne: "I would like to say thankyou to everyone, from the players, all the staff and the Sydney FC fans, because we achieved a great, great success this season."
He added: "It was easy for me, because around me I had nice people, players, coaching staff, Sydney FC fans, everyone. I enjoyed it all season and this is a bonus."
Lavicka, though, refused to be drawn into talk about the club's future with veteran midfielder Steve Corica retiring and several others expected to leave.
"Now we will celebrate, it is hard to say now," the Czech coach said.
