PSV Eindhoven have fined striker Danko Lazovic for his apparent outburst directed towards coach Huub Stevens during their defeat by Ajax last week.
The Serbia international has been given the "maximum fine" by the club, who refused to reveal the amount.
Lazovic seemingly let fly with a torrent of abuse after setting up Ibrahim Afellay's equaliser before PSV went on to lose 4-1 to their rivals at the Amsterdam ArenA.
The forward returned to Holland yesterday following his participation in Serbia's friendly win over Bulgaria and expressed his regret over the incident to club director Jan Reker.
