Bournemouth were the biggest winners of the day, celebrating their survival despite a 17-point deduction with a 4-0 victory at Morecambe.

Joel Ward (7), Liam Feeney (36) and Brett Pitman (43) put the Cherries three up at half-time and Pitman netted the fourth in the 69th minute.

Stuart McCall decided this week to stay on as Bradford manager despite their failure to reach the play-offs and they ended on a winning note, Dean Furman (54) and Michael Boulding (87) netting in a 2-0 win at Chesterfield.

There was another bittersweet victory at Vale Park, with Port Vale, who revealed this week Dean Glover would leave his managerial position at the end of the season, beating Barnet 2-1.

Glover's son Danny was among the scorers, netting Vale's second (45) on the rebound having missed a penalty after Louis Dodds gave the visitors an 11th-minute lead.

Barnet's Abu Ogogo was sent off in the penalty incident but Danny Hart pulled one back on the stroke of full-time.

Aldershot were also away winners, beating Lincoln 2-0 thanks to John Grant (26) and Scott Davies (88), while Grimsby and Macclesfield drew 0-0.
